Mbappe scores first hat-trick in World Cup final, collects golden boot award

History made as France’s Kylian Mbappe has emerged the first player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final after lifting his team to level in the Mundial which ended on Sunday evening in Qatar.

Mbappe converted an 80th-minute penalty and equalized with an acrobatic volley a minute later and another penalty in the 118th minute.

Mbappe collected the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot award.

Argentina won the Qatar 2022 World Cup amid drama in a penalty shoot-out 4-2 against France in a thrilling, tension-soaked encounter.
