Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has continued to demonstrate his support for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, saying the former Anambra State governor changed the face of campaigns ahead of the 2023 elections.

Okoye, who is the half-brother of the Psquare twins currently making waves on the Nigerian music scene again following their reunion after pursuing a solo career for five years.

The Psquare brothers have never hidden their support for Obi as they have continued to show massive public support for Obi’s ambition.

Speaking further,  Okoye insisted that Obi is the reason there are no usual political gimmicks in the coming 2023 elections.

The artiste said politicians are no longer roasting maize with women on the streets or eating in the classrooms, instead they are all back to numbers and statistics.

He wrote on his Twitter page saying: “OBI is the major reason y’all are no longer…2 roasting maize with women on the Street or eating in the classrooms with students for your seasonal gimmicks.

“He set the pace and made y’all return back to Numbers and statistics. e de pain una say him cast una job.”
