Erstwhile Chief Executive Officer of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, is due to be hauled up before an Abuja Federal High Court, over alleged N900 million fraud.

The ex-JAMB Registrar will keep a date on July 6 with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), prosecuting him.

Justice Obiora Egwuatu on June 28 had fixed July 6 for the university don’s formal arraignment following a disagreement by the Counsel to the ICPC, Mr Ebenezer Shogunle, with the terms of the plea bargain application.

The Defence Counsel, Mr P.A.O. Olorunnisola (SAN) was scheduled to file the application before the court.

Persecondnews recalls that on March 15, 2021, ICPC had arrested Ojerinde in Abuja over alleged misappropriation of funds to the tune of N900 million while he called the shots registrar of JAMB and the National Examination Council (NECO).
