The #EndSARS protesters, who were staged a peaceful protest at Berger Junction, Abuja, the nation’s capital, were reportedly attacked by hoodlums on Wednesday.

The hoodlums, tagged “ProSARS’’,  wielding sticks of various sizes, had confronted the #EndSARS protesters, attacked them and also destroyed several vehicles.

However, luck ran out on some of the hoodlums as they were overpowered and beaten black and blue by the angry #EndSARS protesters.

Reacting to the attack via her twitter handle, the Co-convener of the “Bring Back Our Girls Movement’’, Aisha Yesufu, said the ProSARS were hired for the attack.

“Some of the ProSARS were hired with N1,500 to attack #AbujaProtest Berger, Abuja, were captured. Some of them that were injured were taken to the hospital (how peaceful we are) Let’s STAY FOCUSED,” she tweeted.

Persecondnews reports that the #EndSARS is a protest against Police brutality and end to the operations of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the country.
