Nigeria sees spike in reported COVID-19 cases on day Abuja, Lagos reopen

Nigeria reported 245 new COVID-19 cases Monday, the same day FG lifted some restrictions IN Abuja and Lagos State.

 

Lagos state reported 76 new cases Monday – as well as 3 new deaths.  The 245 new cases is about the most reported in one since the pandemic broke out in Nigeria.

The NCDC announced 37 new cases in Katsina, 32 in Jigawa, 23 in Kano, 19 in FCT, 18 in Borno, 10 in Edo,9 in Bauchi, 6 in Adamawa, 5 in OYO, 5 in Ogun, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Osun, I in Niger and I in Zamfara.

Total deaths in Nigeria is now 93
