The Murtala Muhammed lnternational Airport, Lagos, has again recorded another tragedy as a France-bound Nigerian passenger, Jude Oladapo, slumped and died.
Oladapo reportedly slumped while going through the profiling procedures, required of passengers traveling out of the country.
The spokesperson of the Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, who confirmed the report, said the 44-year-old Oladapo, slumped and died after receiving the bad news of his wife’s death.
Alabi said the incident occurred at about 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, and the death of Oladapo was confirmed by Dr Ajayi Olamide, of the airport’s medical facility.
Oladapo’s body has been deposited at the Air Force Hospital mortuary at the Air force base, Ikeja.
