Mr. Bayo Onanuga the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy in a statement on Monday said: “President Tinubu returns to Abuja today following a ten-day working visit to Lagos.

“During his stay in the nation’s commercial capital, Tinubu met with key investors, including Bayo Ogunlesi, Chief Executive Officer of Global Infrastructure Partners, and Keem Belo-Osagie, former Chairman of United Bank for Africa and Etisalat.”

The Nigerian leader reiterated his administration’s commitment to developing Nigeria’s maritime industry as a viable alternative to fossil energy during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Mr. Arsenio Dominguez.

Onanuga added: “Before returning to Abuja, Tinubu visited Imo State, where he commissioned projects undertaken by Governor Hope Uzodimma and unveiled a book authored by the governor.

“On Independence Day, Tinubu delivered a national broadcast, calling on Nigerians to speak positively about their country. He also commissioned the renovated National Theatre, now renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.”

Tinubu also attended the burial of Mama Lydia Yilwatda in Jos, Plateau State, paying tribute to her legacy and reaffirming his administration’s commitment to fairness and equity among all religious groups in the country.

At the funeral, the President paid tribute to Mama Yilwatda and assured Christian communities in Northern Nigeria of his administration’s unwavering commitment to fairness and equity among all religious groups in the country,” the statement added.
