Crystal Palace emerged victorious in the FA Community Shield, defeating Liverpool 3-2 in a penalty shootout after the match ended 2-2 in regular time.

However, Palace equalized again just before halftime, with Sarr scoring a tidy finish after being played through by Adam Wharton.
The match ultimately went to a penalty shootout, with Crystal Palace emerging victorious.
Dean Henderson made a pair of crucial saves for Palace, while substitute Justin Devenney scored the winning penalty to seal the win for Oliver Glasner’s side.
