Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi, 42-year-old eldest child of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away.

She died in London, UK, on Thursday, March 27, after a brief illness, Persecondnews gathered.

Bisola was married to Ibadan-born politician and bank executive, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, with whom she had three children.

Bisola was a prominent entrepreneur in Nigeria’s luxury retail industry. She served as the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale chain established in 1984.

She was also the founder of Florence H. Luxury boutique, carving a niche for herself in a male-dominated industry.

In addition to her business ventures, Bisola played a role in public service as a Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.

She was widely regarded as a passionate advocate for economic development and women’s empowerment.

Her husband described her as “a shining star” whose legacy would live on through their children.

Meanwhile, the news of her death has sent shockwaves through political and business circles, where she was a well-known figure.
