Super Eagles Coach Chelle Unveils Star-Studded Squad for Rwanda, Zimbabwe Clashes

Nigerian football enthusiasts can now have a sigh of relief as Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Éric Sékou Chelle, has unveiled the final 23-man squad for the impending 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clashes against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The lineup boasts an impressive array of talent, featuring notable players such as goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Kayode Bankole, defenders William Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Olaoluwa Aina, midfield maestros Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, and Simon Moses.

Other notable players who made the cut include defenders Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielders Raphael Onyedika and Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, and forwards Samuel Chukwueze, Sadiq Umar, and Tolu Arokodare.

The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in Kigali on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State four days later.

With this star-studded squad, Nigerian fans are optimistic about the team’s chances of securing maximum points in both matches.
