The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

The team received a warm welcome at OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday morning, with a surprise visit from football icon Samuel Eto’o, President of the Cameroon Football Federation.

Eto’o, a four-time African Player of the Year and all-time leading scorer in the Africa Cup of Nations, greeted the young players with handshakes and inspiring words.

The team was accompanied by leader of delegation Timothy Magaji, NFF Director of Competitions Ruth David, Coach Bankole Olowookere, and the Head of Women Football, Amina Daura.

The Flamingos aim to achieve a winning result against Bantwana, moving one step closer to securing a spot in the 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
