Gov. Fubara receives RCCG’s Pastor Adeboye, offers prayers amid Rivers political crisis

In a bid to pour oil on the Rivers waters, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide has visited Gov. Siminalayi Fubara at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the capital city.

The visitation which occurred on Wednesday, January 22, provided the reverred God’s servant the opportunity to put a seal on 2025 as an auspicious year for the state, offer heartfelt prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the governor, his family, and the state government.

The unique visitation is captured in a viral video obtained by Persecondnews on Thursday.

Adeboye’s heartfelt prayers sought peace, unity, and progress for the state, highlighting the vital role spiritual guidance plays in creating a harmonious and prosperous society.

His prayers echoed the power of unity and peace, as emphasized in his sermon, “Peace Through His Presence”

In a gesture of goodwill, Adeboye presented gifts to Fubara, fostering a stronger bond between the RCCG and the Rivers State Government.

The governor was joined during the visit by Dr. Tammy Danagogo, Secretary to the State Government and other officials while Pastor Adeboye was accompanied by a delegation of senior pastors and church leaders.
