Ex-BBNaija star Okusaga Adeoluwa, popularly known as Saga, has announced financial empowerment in memory of his late mother, who passed away 10 years ago.

Saga promised to donate N100,000 each to 10 motherless people in a heartfelt Instagram video, offering support to those who, like him, have experienced the agony of losing a mother.

An emotional tribute to his mother, reflecting on the decade since her passing, accompanied Saga’s announcement.

He described these years as feeling like a long dream, one where he often imagines waking up to the familiar sounds and smells of his mother’s presence, particularly the aroma of Akara in the kitchen and her cheerful morning calls.

For the first 21 years of his life, Saga’s mother equipped him with invaluable life skills.

From artistic talents like drawing and singing to personal attributes such as hard work, dignity, and a deep faith in God, she imparted lessons that have shaped the man he is today.

Saga fondly recalls how she taught him how to navigate his stutter, love himself and others, and even be a good husband and father.

Saga refers to his mother as his “angel,” expressing that despite her physical absence, her influence remains strong in his life.

He shared a humorous memory of a time she accidentally spat on a stranger while driving, a moment that has stayed with him for its unexpected hilarity and the lesson in humility it carried.

Saga remembers her touching numerous lives during her 49 years on earth, a testament to her generous and caring nature.

This broad influence has inspired him to continue her legacy of kindness and support.
