Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been named Player of the Season by his Italian Serie A club, Atalanta.
Lookman had a stellar and amazing season with the Bergamo-based side, with his skills and goals taking Atalanta to two finals.
The club made the announcement on Thursday with the caption “Look who won the @italianoptic #POTS AGAIN!” on its official X handle.
The Nigerian won man of the match in the UEFA Europa League final, in which his hat-trick sealed victory for Atalanta, beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.
Lookmam became the first player to score a hat-trick in a single-leg UEFA Cup/Europa League final.
