Just in: Fire guts Christ Embassy Church HQ in Oregun, Lagos

The Christ Embassy Church headquarters at Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, near the Lagos State Government Secretariat, has been gutted by fire.

On Sunday morning, Reels posted a video clip showing the building engulfed in flames and thick smoke billowing from the atmosphere.

Officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are already on the scene to put out the fire.

As of press time, there are no further details available as the church has yet to react.

Chris Oyakhilome, a fiery televangelist and pastor from Edo, founded Christ Embassy Church in 1987.
