Pere Egbi, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, recently succumbed to mounting pressure and reportedly reimbursed actress Etinosa for a gig she had paid for.
Etinosa, after receiving her payment, finally disclosed the identity of the BBNaija housemate who had owed her money for months.
She had previously threatened to expose the name of the reality star if they failed to repay the funds for an undisclosed engagement.
Kemi Filani reported Etinosa’s distress on X-Platform just hours ago, lamenting that a BBNaija alum owed her money.
She expressed surprise, assuming that graduates of the reality show were financially comfortable.
Despite her frustration, she hesitated to publicly shame the debtor.
In a recent development, Etinosa returned to X-Platform to announce that she had received full payment.
However, she specifically named Pere Egbi from BBNaija and advised him to promptly refund any payment if he couldn’t fulfil a commitment.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity in the industry and stressed that such behaviour shouldn’t be tolerated.
Etinosa concluded by asserting her seniority in the acting profession and criticized the industry’s tendency to enable irresponsible behaviour.
She firmly stated: “Payment received IN FULL. Dear @PereEgbi, if you know you can’t do a job you were paid for, respectfully refund without stress. It helps your integrity. P.S. I am not your mate in this industry. Cheers.”
