I pray to live the rest of my life in good health – Kollington Ayinla

Reflecting on the inevitabilities of ageing, Ayinla shared insights into the natural progression of life, acknowledging the physical toll it could take on the body.

Revered Fuji veteran Kollington Ayinla, who returned home weeks ago after an extended stay in the hospital battling an undisclosed ailment, has said he prayed to live the rest of his life in good health.

Sources close to the musician revealed that his health struggles are linked to the inevitable challenges of old age.

However, throughout his ordeal, Ayinla has been buoyed by the overwhelming support of fellow Fuji artistes, particularly Sule Alao, also known as Malaika, who have generously contributed to his medical expenses.

While speaking with Per Second News about his health, the iconic “Ijo Yoyo” crooner expressed gratitude for his return home yet acknowledged that his ailment persists, albeit to a lesser extent.

Despite the lingering discomfort, Ayinla said he remained optimistic, placing his faith in divine intervention to bring about complete healing and restore him to his former vitality.

According to him, he remained resolute in his belief that, with God’s grace, he would overcome his health challenges and reclaim his peak performance.

Reflecting on the inevitabilities of ageing, Ayinla shared insights into the natural progression of life, acknowledging the physical toll it could take on the body.

Ayinla, while speaking, maintained a positive outlook, determined to make the most of each day.

He emphasised the importance of maintaining faith and resilience in the face of adversity, drawing strength from his unwavering belief in the power of prayer and divine intervention.

For Ayinla, returning home signified not just a physical homecoming but a reaffirmation of his resilience and unwavering spirit.

Despite the setbacks he has faced, he exuded a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to continue living and pursuing his passion for music.

“I am hoping and praying that God will perfect his healing in my life and take me back to my best. I am hale and hearty, and I am so happy to return to my house alive.

“When you grow old to a certain age, you must experience some discomfort in your body, but I am praying to God to give me perfect health so I can enjoy the rest of my life.”

As Ayinla embarked on the next chapter of his journey, he did so with a renewed sense of hope and determination.

With his unwavering faith and the support of his peers, he faces the future with optimism, adding, “I am trusting in God’s plan for my life.”
