AFCON: Doctors clear Osimhen to face South Africa on Wednesday

Doctors have given Victor Osimhen, the striker for the Super Eagles, the clean bill of health to play against South Africa in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semifinal.

It has been confirmed by sources in Abidjan that Osimhen should be ready for Wednesday’s match.

The Napoli striker is currently on his way to Bouake, where he will meet up with the team.

On Monday, when the club released a statement indicating that Osimhen was experiencing stomach problems, while questions regarding his role surfaced.

Osimhen, who has scored just once in the ongoing AFCON, was left behind when the other players made their way to the game.

Super Eagles handler, Jose Peseiro will be excited to hear that Osimhen hale and hearty.
