Breaking: Supreme Court confirms PDP’s Adeleke as Osun Governor

Sen. Ademola Adeleke was on Tuesday affirmed by the Supreme Court as the governor of Osun State.

Delivering judgment, a five-member panel of the apex court held that the Court of Appeal “correctly reinstated” Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the Governor of the state.

Persecondnews recalls that the defeated governor of the state, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, had filed a petition at the Election Tribunal, challenging Adeleke’s victory.
