The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted the collation of the results of the 2023 Presidential Election until 6.00pm on Sunday fuelling anxiety and disquiet among Nigerians.

Persecondnews recalls that the electoral body had scheduled the exercise for 12pm.

The presidential poll has been a three-horse titanic race among APC’s Bola Tinubu, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

It was gathered that INEC might be waiting for some elections postponed till today to be concluded.

Already, results had been declared at polling units, wards and local government areas.

The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said at a press briefing in Abuja to declare the collation open that it would commence at 6pm on Sunday.
