She is to sweep the school premises for six months for invading her son ‘s school with thugs and assaulting the Principal and a teacher.
The convict is to sweep the school from 8.00a.m. to 11.00a.m. daily in the next six months.
The magistrate directed that the school authority to open a log book for the convict where her daily activities would be recorded for the six months.
She was, however, given an option of N30,000 fine to be given to the principal and the teacher as damages.
“The prosecution has proven its case beyond reasonable doubts and Biola Joshua is therefore found guilty of the charges preferred against her,” the court ruled.
The convict had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges but Police Prosecutor Cynthia Ejezie insisted that she committed the offences with her son and others still at large on March 11,2021.
Insp. Ejezie said the convict and her accomplices assaulted the school principal and a teacher, causing them bodily harm.
They also conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by invading the school and disrupting its academic activities with some thugs.
