For allegedly making love overtures to a married woman through a WhatsApp message, a 38-year old randy man, Sikiru Oluwaseun Jamiu, has been hauled before the court in Ogun State in Southwest of Nigeria.

Persecondnews reports that Sikiru Oluwaseun Jamiu, who is lusting after a woman, Mrs Opeyemi Adegbesan, is facing trial at an Ijebu-Ode Magistrate’s Court.

Jamiu had allegedly texted a love WhatsApp message to the woman unsolicited.

Jamiu had sent a “Good Morning Babe” message on WhatsApp about 8.02 a.m. to Mrs Adegbesan, which incensed the happily married woman.

Police Prosecutor has charged the man with misconduct in breaching peace in the marriage of one Mrs Opeyemi Adegbesan by sending a WhatsApp message to her on September 19, 2021.

Sikiru Oluwaseun Jamiu committed the offences at Fidipote Street in Ijebu-Ode to cause a breach of the peace in the marriage between Mr Akintunde Adegbesan (husband) and Opeyemi Adegbesan (wife) by sending the message “Good Morning Babe” on WhatsApp no 08059491562 and 08138868837.

The offences, according to the prosecution, contravene Section 249(d) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun State of Nigeria, 2006 (revised).

The court, however, has yet to fix a date for the hearing of the case.
