Divided APC In Disarray As Deputy Chairman Calls For Oshiomhole’s Resignation

590

To say that National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is the divider-in-chief of contemporary political discourse is to state the obvious.

His deputy,  Senator Lawan Shuaibu, has called for Oshiomhole to resign from the office as the party’s National Chairman

Shaibu in a letter addressed to the chairman, he said Oshiomhole’s rhetoric is divisive and has failed to improve on what he met at the party.

“In advance democracies, people who fail to add value or build over and above what they met on assumption of duty show some civilized example, they honourably bow out, he stressed.

“It is my honest opinion that your ability to ensure this party flourishes is deficient as you lack the necessary composure and you also don’t possess the capabilities and the requisite experience to run a political party.

“The respect was commanding among its members and sympathizers have been completely eroded, while the goodwill has equally evaporated with the type of attitude of threats to members you deploy, including senior members like Governor’s, Senators, Ministers and other Government officials whose functions do not fall within your jurisdiction.

The party under Oshiomhole is riven with fractures and infighting, said a party stalwart from Kaduna.

The APC is being torn in different directions from extreme elements within their ranks, and devastation and disintegration would soon see the light, said Mazi Chinedu Obioha, a party stalwart in Imo state.
