Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has been re-elected after sweeping 19 of the 30 local government areas in Saturday’s governorship election.
The State Returning Officer and Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Prof. Joshua Ogunwole, declared Adeleke the victor at 7:24 am on Sunday.
Polling 511,067 votes to win the contest, Adeleke was officially returned to office for a second term.
