Nigeria’s Super Eagles face a selection headache ahead of their final Group C clash against Uganda, with four key starters at risk of suspension.

Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Semi Ajayi, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali are all one yellow card away from a mandatory one-match ban, which would see them miss the crucial Round of 16.

The stakes are particularly high for Lookman, who has dominated the tournament with two goals and two assists so far.

Meanwhile, a caution for Osimhen could see Paul Onuachu lead the line in the knockout stages.

Defensively, Coach Eric Chelle may be forced to reshuffle his backline or goal-tending options, potentially turning to Zaidu Sanusi or Francis Uzoho.

Despite the disciplinary risks, the objective remains clear – a victory against Uganda guarantees Nigeria the top spot in the group with a perfect nine-point record.
