With the 2027 elections looming, Rep. James Faleke has signaled President Tinubu’s intent for a second term by picking up the APC’s ₦100 million nomination forms.

 The Ikeja representative in the nation’s Green Chambers and support group founder finalized the purchase on Tuesday in Abuja, receiving the documents from National Organising Secretary Suleiman Argungu.
The move comes just as INEC unveiled the full schedule for the upcoming 2027 general elections.0
Presidential and National Assembly polls are fixed for Saturday, January 16, 2027, while governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections will hold on Saturday, February 6, 2027.

INEC also announced that party primaries, including the resolution of all related disputes, must be completed between April 23, 2026, and May 30, 2026.

Campaigns for the presidential and National Assembly elections will begin on August 19, 2026, with governorship and state assembly campaigns starting on September 9, 2026.
