Uzoka-Anite Thanks Tinubu for Redeployment to Budget Ministry, Pledges Commitment to Renewed Hope Agenda

Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for redeploying her to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State, pledging renewed commitment to advancing the administration’s economic priorities.

In a statement on Wednesday, Uzoka-Anite said she was honoured by the President’s continued confidence in her and reaffirmed her dedication to supporting the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda with policies that will deliver measurable outcomes for Nigerians.

“I am honoured and grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his continued confidence in me by redeploying me to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Minister of State,” she said.

Uzoka-Anite noted that her focus in the new role would be to strengthen the alignment between planning, budgeting, and implementation across government institutions in order to accelerate national development and promote inclusive economic growth.

She also congratulated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele on his nomination as Minister of State for Finance, expressing optimism about his confirmation and wishing him success in the responsibilities ahead.
