In an effort to broker peace, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has summoned the warring factions of the PDP to its headquarters for an emergency meeting.

As the “troubleshooting meeting” unfold, the two sides—one led by Tanimu Turaki and the other by Abdulrahman Mohammed (aligned with Nyesom Wike)—are seeking a resolution to their dispute.

Turaki arrived with a significant entourage, including former Governor Babangida Aliyu and several National Working Committee members.

Mohammed, on his part, was accompanied by members of his national caretaker committee including the Secretary, Sen. Sam Anyanwu.
