Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a road accident on Sunday evening on the Daura-Katsina Road.
While the incident has sparked concern, Persecondnews reports that the Governor is in stable condition.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda is said to be in high spirits and has expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection.
Sources indicated that the Governor’s vehicle was involved in the accident en route to Katsina from Daura, prompting a swift rush to the Federal Medical Centre Daura.
“The Governor appreciates the prayers and concern shown by the people of Katsina State and well-wishers.
“With his safety and well-being confirmed, the Governor is expected to continue his duties, serving the state with dedication and commitment,” the statement said.
