Lande’s marital crisis gets messier as Baba Tee finally admits having affair with Lande’s wife, Dara

The controversy surrounding Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, aka Baba Tee, and comedian Ganiyu Morufu, aka Lande, has taken another dramatic twist, making the situation even messier than before.

After vehemently denying allegations of an affair with Lande’s wife, Dara, Baba Tee has now made a shocking confession, admitting to a “short” sexual experience with her.

His new revelation contradicts his earlier stance, where he had challenged Lande to provide evidence or risk facing a lawsuit for defamation.

However, during a live interview with socialite Esabod and some TikTokers on Sunday, monitored by Persecondnews, Baba Tee retracted his statement, claiming that he had been tricked into the act.

In his confession, Baba Tee said he unknowingly engaged in the affair under the influence of alcohol while playing a “Truth or Dare” game with Dara and actress Marygold at his home.

“Marygold and Dara came to my house. She (Marygold) claimed she wanted me to be an MC for her upcoming program, but she didn’t tell me she was bringing anyone along. She introduced Dara as a content creator, not as Lande’s wife,” Baba Tee explained.

He further alleged that the game turned bizarre when Marygold dared Dara to have “quick” sexual intercourse with him.

“Rather than throwing ‘Truth’ questions at me, they were hurling ‘Dare.’ Marygold dared Dara to let me have a short sexual encounter with her, and she agreed. But I only realized later that it was a set-up to tarnish my image.”

His confession has only fueled the controversy, raising questions about his initial denial and his claims of being misled and manipulated into the affair.

Baba Tee’s admission adds another layer to the already chaotic marital crisis between Lande and Dara. In a previous interview, Lande had accused his wife of infidelity with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee.

“I know of at least 21 people in the industry that have slept with my wife. Baba Tee is one of them,” Lande alleged.

While many had initially doubted his claims, Baba Tee’s latest admission has given credence to Lande’s accusations, leaving the public wondering how many more names might come up.

This unfolding drama has also brought back memories of a mysterious disappearance involving Lande.

Sometime ago, he vanished for two weeks, sparking concerns among fans and colleagues. Many feared for his safety, only for him to resurface with a shocking claim:

“I was kidnapped.”

However, findings later revealed that Lande ran away from home in the middle of his troubled marriage with Dara.

It appears he could no longer handle the emotional turmoil, leading him to stage a disappearance instead of confronting the reality of his crumbling marriage.

Following his confession, Esabod advised Baba Tee to publicly apologise to Lande for the betrayal, especially since he had earlier threatened him with a lawsuit. Baba Tee complied, issuing an apology via Facebook:

“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women.”
