Lobi Stars has reengaged Mohammed Baba Ganaru as their Interim Head Coach until the end of the current season.

This development comes after the resignation of former Technical Adviser, Daniel Amokachi, who left the team at the bottom of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table.

According to the Chairman of Lobi Stars, Dr. Philip Nongu, the reappointment of Ganaru became necessary due to the team’s current standing on the NPFL table.

“Everything we do at the moment is for the good of our beloved club. While we welcome criticisms, they should be constructive and aimed at enhancing our performance. Let us remain steadfast in our support, knowing that with God, nothing is impossible,” Nongu said.

He expressed confidence in Ganaru’s ability, having previously managed Lobi Stars and also reaffirmed the management’s commitment to providing the necessary support to ensure the club retains its NPFL status.

“We are confident that Coach Ganaru will turn things around and help us avoid relegation.”

The club’s Assistant Coach, Tar Akombo, took charge of the team for their crucial NPFL fixture against second-placed Shooting Stars in Ibadan which ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
