Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has etched his name in the record books with an astonishing overhead kick goal for Galatasaray against Antalyaspor.

According to CNN Turk, Osimhen’s strike is only the second goal worldwide scored from a height exceeding 2.30 meters.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic overhead kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, which he scored from 2.38 meters, surpasses Osimhen’s impressive feat of 2.32 meters.

The Nigerian forward has been in fine form since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, scoring three goals.

His latest masterpiece began with Hakim Ziyech’s floated free-kick into the box.

Osimhen outmuscled his marker and unleashed a powerful overhead kick, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.

This remarkable achievement solidifies Osimhen’s reputation as one of football’s most clinical finishers.
