President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Sen. Monday Okpebholo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Saturday’s Edo governorship poll on his victory.
The President’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser, Information and Strategy.
Okpebholo was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday, having defeated other contenders for the position.
Tinubu commended APC national leaders, Edo leaders and party’s governors for working hard to achieve victory.
