Alaseyori to fans: Pray for me, evil forces trying to silence me

Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori has sparked concern among her fans after revealing that she is facing intense spiritual battles.

The singer spoke out against those she described as evil-minded people trying to bring her down in an emotionally charged Instagram post on Friday.

She called for prayers from her followers, claiming that malicious forces are trying to silence her voice and bring her down at all costs.

Alaseyori, known for her soulful and energetic performances, opened up about the ongoing struggles she has been facing for months.

Though she did not mention specific names, the singer made it clear that she was aware of those targeting her and hinted at the intensity of their actions against her and her family.

“Dear fans, please keep praying for me and my family,” she began her plea. “Everywhere you are or whatever you are doing, never stop praying for me.

“I have been feeling this way for months, but I can’t keep quiet about it anymore. I want you all to be aware and keep me in your prayers.”

Alaseyori’s heartfelt message touched on the spiritual warfare she believes she is enduring, with bitter forces trying to derail her success.

She described a world filled with people who are pained by her rise and willing to go to great lengths to see her fail.

“This life is just filled with demonic people who are constantly bitter that you are rising,” Alaseyori continued.

“Everybody works hard, and nobody knows the amount of work we all do. But why would anybody come and try to force me down because you are pained that I am rising?”

The gospel artiste also revealed the disturbing nature of the attacks she has been receiving, particularly through her social media platforms.

She revealed the inundation of “satanic” messages aimed not just at her but also at her family.

Despite the negative energy aimed at her, Alaseyori said she remained defiant, stating that she has placed her faith in God to combat these forces.

“I see how people come into my DM to drop satanic messages for me and my family, but I have sent them back to God, and they will all be destroyed,” she declared.

While Alaseyori remains a prominent figure in the gospel music industry, her meteoric rise has not been without controversy.

A section of the gospel community has criticised her style, questioning the rapid nature of her success.

She pointed out that some people have even suggested that her quick ascent may not be entirely natural, leading to whispers and suspicions within the industry.

Alaseyori’s public call for prayer triggered a wave of support from her fans and fellow believers, many of whom took to social media to offer words of encouragement and promise their prayers.

In recent years, Alaseyori has gained popularity for her powerful worship songs, such as “Oniduro Mi,” which resonated with many listeners and solidified her place in the gospel music scene.

“I also want you to pray for yourselves too,” she urged, pointing out the ever-present spiritual battles that everyone faces.
