On Day 11 of the ongoing Olympics in Paris, France, Team Nigeria suffered another setback as Blessing Oborududu failed to secure a podium spot in the women’s wrestling 68 kg event, falling 3-0 to Japan’s Nonoka Ozaki.

The Nigerian wrestler gave it her best shot, but it was not just her night.

PersecondNews correspondent covering the games observed that the wrestler struggled all throughout the bout due to a slow recovery rate after heavy pounding from Meerim Zhumanazarova on Monday.

As the games enter day 11, Team Nigeria’s medal drought continues.
