Rema, the Nigerian afrobeat singer, has arrived in India for a private pre-wedding event for the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, – the wealthiest person in India – Anant Ambani, and his fianceé, Radhika Merchant.

He was allegedly paid $3 million to perform Calm Down and possibly a song from his new album ‘He Is’, ‘Azaman.’

Just a few days ago, Justin Bieber was invited to perform at a pre-wedding event for the couple and was rumoured to have been paid around $10 million.

Persecondnews recalls that Rihanna performed at the couple’s first pre-wedding party in March, making it her first full-length concert in years. She was allegedly paid $7 million.

This was alongside various Bollywood performers such as Akon, and David Blaine.

Prominent figures like Ivanka Trump and Karlie Kloss, as well as several billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, attended the first pre-wedding event.

The pair hosted a second pre-wedding event in May that included performances by Pitbull, Andrea Bocelli, David Guetta, The Backstreet Boys, and Katy Perry abroad and off a cruise ship in Italy.

One of India’s richest and most influential families, the Ambani family runs a broad business empire that includes energy, telecom, and retail.

As for the Merchant family, they are renowned in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The family has contributed to social causes and community development.

The wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant marks the joining of two powerful families and the start of a new chapter in their colourful histories.

Rema’s performance and attendance from other prominent figures will only heighten the attraction.
