The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III CFR, has called on leaders to intensify efforts to tackle Nigeria’s pressing economic and security challenges.
Addressing the Muslim community in his palace, Sultan emphasized the need for leaders to redouble their efforts to stimulate economic growth, enhance security, ensure access to farmlands, and ultimately eradicate hunger in Nigeria.
The Sokoto Central Eid Ground hosted the two-unit prayer service, led by Chief Imam Malamin Akwara of the Sultan Bello Mosque and attended by the Sultan of Sokoto, the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, and other high-ranking officials, as part of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The Sultan also urged wealthy individuals to extend a helping hand to those in need, fostering a spirit of generosity and solidarity with the less fortunate members of the community.
