“What we must do as citizens is pray for our leaders for God to guide them to see or do what is right. For God to give them the humility to reverse themselves when necessary and do the right thing; that’s how society progresses”

Taking a look at President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has advised Tinubu to drop any of his appointees who failed to deliver.

Speaking with newsmen in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Monday, El-Rufai also advised the president to explore the possibility of amending some of his policies that were not yielding the desired results.

He said: “You appointed a person into a position, and he is not working according to expectations. You should have the humility to tell him that I need a better person; go and do something else.”

The former Kaduna governor, however, called for prayers and support from Nigerians for the Tinubu administration in its quest to turn things around in the country.

“What we must do as citizens is pray for our leaders for God to guide them to see or do what is right.

“For God to give them the humility to reverse themselves when necessary and do the right thing; that’s how society progresses,” he said.
