Security operatives repel local agitators’ invasion of Oyo Govt Secretariat, three feared dead

Three people suspected to be Yoruba nation agitators have met their untimely deaths following their invasion of the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, the state capital.

In addition to the fatalities, authorities have apprehended at least five of the agitators with charms on their bodies.

An unconfirmed report said that during the clash with security operatives on Saturday, the three armed gunmen lost their lives.

Report said an attempt to take over the State House of Assembly was successfully repelled by the police and army.
