APC’s Sen. Okpebholo emerges candidate for Edo governorship poll

With 12,433 votes, Okpebholo emerged victorious in the primary election, which took place throughout all the 18 local government areas, reports Persecondnews.

Sen. Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the party’s primary ahead of the Edo State September 21 governorship poll.

With 12,433 votes, Okpebholo emerged victorious in the primary election, which took place throughout all the 18 local government areas, reports Persecondnews.

Dennis Idahosa, his closest competitor, who had earlier been declared winner in last Saturday’s botched primary conducted by Imo Gov. Hope Uzodimma, was beaten with a score of 6541.
