Only a few weeks after leaving the emPawa music label run by well-known Nigerian musician and entrepreneur Mr. Eazi, Joeboy might have found himself facing a new challenge.

Reports pieced together by Per Second News indicated that Joeboy’s former mentor and label owner, Mr. Eazi, along with his wife, Temi Otedola, have unfollowed the singer on various social media platforms, including Instagram.

Following his discovery and subsequent signing to the emPawa Africa label, Mr. Eazi served as Joeboy’s mentor as he rose to prominence. Joeboy recently announced his decision to leave the label.

The talented artist unveiled his plans to establish his own music label, named ‘Young Legend,’ with the intention of nurturing emerging music talents.

Despite his departure from emPawa, Joeboy expressed gratitude to Mr. Eazi for his significant role in shaping his music career.

However, the unfolding events on social media suggest a potential strain in the relationship between Joeboy and his former mentor, as evidenced by Mr. Eazi and Temi Otedola’s decision to unfollow him.

The move to unfollow Joeboy comes amidst speculation and curiosity from fans and industry observers about the nature of his departure from emPawa and the dynamics of his relationship with Mr. Eazi and Temi Otedola.

While neither party has publicly addressed the unfollowing, it has sparked discussions and raised questions within the Nigerian music industry.

As the situation continues to unfold, fans and stakeholders eagerly await further developments and clarification regarding the rift between Joeboy and his former mentor, as well as the future trajectory of Joeboy’s burgeoning music career under his newly established label, ‘Young Legend.’
