Nollywood actor John Okafor, widely known as Mr. Ibu, has been discharged from the hospital after a challenging battle with an ailment that ultimately led to the amputation of one of his legs.
Mr. Ibu, upon his release, is currently residing with family, strategically avoiding his private residence to control the influx of well-wishers eager to check on his recovery progress.
Despite the physical setback, the resilient actor is not ready to bid farewell to his acting aspirations.
Sources close to the family told Per Second News that Mr. Ibu, now adapting to life as a one-legged man, remains optimistic about gracing the screen once more and is not ruling out future movie roles.
It was also reliably gathered that in an upcoming video that he plans to share on various social media platforms, Mr. Ibu is expected to express his emotions and share insights into his journey of recovery.
Per Second News also learnt that some colleagues who failed to visit the actor during his hospitalisation are now being denied access to him.
As Mr. Ibu takes gradual steps towards normalcy, the anticipation surrounding his potential return to the cinematic world may grow.
