In a what appeared like a resilient comeback, embattled Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, has returned to the music scene with a big bang.

Apparently undeterred by the ongoing legal challenges relating to the tragic demise of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, Marley says he’s picking up from where he stopped.

Despite facing court proceedings over the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, Marley, who secured bail in November, appears unshaken and asserts that he hasn’t missed much, thanks to the unwavering support of his fans who stayed connected during his absence.

The artiste recently announced his return with a new single entitled, “Wahala” on, signaling his intent to share his perspective on the unfolding saga.

The lyrics of the track suggest a narrative from Marley’s viewpoint, adding an intriguing layer to the controversy.

Before the release of “Wahala,” Marley was frequently spotted in the Lagos social scene, notably in the company of his associate, Sam Larry, who is still trial but was also granted bail on the same day as Marley.

Discussing his latest releases, namely ‘On My Own’ and ‘Wahala,’ Marley emphasized that these songs were crafted exclusively for his dedicated fanbase, the Marlian soldiers.

Expressing a hope to steer clear of further troubles, he said he anticipated a smoother journey ahead.

Notably, “Wahala” has swiftly gained anthem status across various social media platforms, reflecting the artiste’s enduring spirit.
