Nigerian rapper, Oladips, has resurfaced, dispelling the rumours of his untimely demise just one week after being declared dead.

The initial shockwave was sent through social media when his management announced his passing due to a brief illness, accompanied by an official statement.

Curiously, a day following the alleged death, Oladips’ management released his long-anticipated album, sparking speculation about the authenticity of the news.

Fans were caught in a web of confusion as the controversy surrounding the rapper’s presumed demise intensified.

The situation escalated when fans expressed their disappointment, accusing the artiste of orchestrating a death hoax for the sole purpose of promoting his new album.

The criticisms reached a fever pitch as supporters condemned what they perceived as a “tasteless and insensitive marketing strategy”.

However, the narrative took an unexpected twist as a new video emerged today, featuring Oladips himself.

The rapper took to the social media to share the video, laying to rest the swirling rumour of death and confirming that he is indeed alive.

This revelation has left fans relieved and bewildered, prompting questions about the unconventional marketing approach and its impact on the artist’s reputation.
