Nollywood, ground for creativity, not for runs girls, Kanayo Kanayo blows hot

Veteran actor, Kanayo O Kanayo, has warned young actresses aspiring to become famous in the movie industry through body enhancement and sleeping their way up to desist from such practice, insisting that the creative industry is not for run girls.

Kanayo, in an interview, said he is incensed when people refer to Nollywood as a breeding ground for prostitution and other social vices.

He, however, warned those who have such an idea not to bother stepping their feet on Nollywood.

The actor, who is also a lawyer, said Nollywood should not be a ground for butt enlargement or gay and lesbianism but a ground for creativity where one’s craft can be seen and celebrated across the globe.

“Nollywood is not a ground for butt enlargement or where dollars are missing and people generalize that it is the Nollywood girls who practice prostitution.

“I must also add that it is not where you learn how to act but to better your skills and hone your talent. Many ladies here Genevieve is a millionaire and Omotola is a billionaire and they start wearing wigs to join the industry.

“We all have different sectors and everybody is welcome but you must find out whether you have a calling for acting. You need some element of education to come to Nollywood,” Kanayo said.
