It seems Ayra Starr, Nigerian female music star is not impressed with the organizers of Headies Awards over their decision not to announce the Best Female Artiste category she won on stage.

The Rush crooner was announced winner of the Best Female Artiste at the 16th edition of the awards held in Atlanta but she was not happy that it wasn’t celebrated on stage like others.

As fans wondered and questioned why the singer has not come out to speak or celebrate winning one of the keenly contested categories, but she fumed, saying she couldn’t be happy celebrating winning award that wasn’t announced on stage.

According to her, she will never be grateful for winning a category that wasn’t even deemed fit to be announced on stage.

Speaking further, she said winning Best Female Artiste “no be beans”.

She said she was not raised to celebrate or accept any less of her worth and would not start accepting low now.

“We work hard, every single one of us! I’ve seen Tiwa record 4 hit songs in the same night, Tems breaths and lives for music , we didn’t deserve such nonchalance! Nigeria, you didn’t raise me to settle for less”.
