Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki has reacted angrily to how some of his fans are constantly asking him for help through his Direct Message (DM) on Instagram.
The actor in a video shared on Monday morning warned those in the habit of asking him for help via his DM to stop, insisting that waking up to torrents of messages from people seeking one assistance or the other is disturbing.
According to him, online followers have turned his account to bank of industry where they could borrow money.
“I’m annoyed by the entitlement sense of many people.
“It is really annoying that people do this in my DM. They have turned it to Bank of Industry where they can be asking for loans and monetary support.
“They do these things as though we also don’t have responsibilities to attend to.
“They have cultivated the habit of bombarding my DM with unsolicited account details as though I must cater for their needs. I am very angry this morning and I am appealing to those who do this to stop and be civil.
“The economic crunch is biting harder and hitting everybody so bad that you will be shocked when you get to know that some of us don’t have money,” Ikedieze said.
“If you know the number of people I render help to without mentioning it or coming on social media platforms to celebrate it, then some of these people who have turned my DM to their bank, will let me rest.”
