Tiwa Savage Admits She Was Nervous During Her Performance At King Charles Coronation

If it looked like Tiwa Savage’s emotions and nerves were running high on King Charles III coronation stage, that’s because they were.

” I was nervous for the first few seconds and it almost ruined the show but as soon as I started singing, I have to just get swept away by the crowd.”

While Tiwa may have been a little tense, the audience didn’t seem to notice or care. Many fans and celebrities gleefully danced and sung along to her music.

Speaking about her performance on that day and what people didn’t know happened to her few seconds into the show, Savage revealed that she was nervous for first few seconds but got her groove back as soon as she started singing.

“The performance was beautiful. It was such an amazing moment to represent the Commonwealth and to be on that stage.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain TV Show, Savage described the British Queen Consort, Camilla, as “very lovely”.
Speakingon Afrobeats and its effects on global music, she said “I thin Afrobeat is really the beginning for popular black music, So when you think of Hip-hop, RnB, Soul, it stemmed from Africa. So, it is really a full circle moment to see that Afrobeat is getting the attention and the limelight it is getting right now.”

Per Second News recalled that that Savage became the first Nigerian artiste to perform at a British royal event.
