The Council is chaired by Vice-President Kashim Shettima with the 36 state governors, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and other co-opted government officials as members.

While inaugurating the council at the State House, Abuja, the President urged members to support his administration in transforming the nation’s economy.
