A female Air Force Master Warrant Officer, George, serving at 651 Base Services Group, was on Sunday found dead in her apartment in Lagos.
Persecondnews reports that the tragedy occurred at Block T5, Flat 8 at Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja.
She reportedly hanged herself inside her room in the afternoon of June 10, 2023.
Several knocks on her door revealed that the Air Force officer did not respond which led to the breaking into of the flat.
She was pronounced dead by three Air Provosts who came with another team of personnel to evacuate the body to the 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital.
Authorities said investigation into the incident has begun while her body has been deposited in the morgue.
